Hi All,

Thank you for participating in the Fusion 360 electronics forum. I want to inform you about the new and improved features added to Fusion 350 electronics, especially the new Signal Integrity Extension.

Signal Integrity

The new Fusion 360 electronics Signal Integrity extension is powered by Ansys, an authority in all things simulation. Our long-standing partnership with Ansys has enabled us to reimagine the visualization of signal integrity directly on your circuit board workspace. You will now be able to analyze signals and get pertinent information for your high-speed transmission lines. After activating it from the simulation tab, select the signal you wish to analyze and input the target impedance.

The results will provide a color overlay indicating the impedance behavior on the selected transmission and a legend indicating your range. The analysis panel will include additional details such as Length, Time Delay, Inductance, capacitance, and more. Please visit the link in the description to learn more about our latest extension.

Using Arrow Keys

This other highly requested feature has made it; you now use the arrow keys to move selected assets. You will no longer solely depend on moving components with your mouse.  This new feature does work with the primary and alternate gride. This will not only help you save time but improve your design experience.

Inferencing in the Pattern and Arrange Command

We have now combined this feature to include inferencing into the pattern and arrange commands. This will simplify finding the origin asset pattern in the schematic and the board. This time-saving feature will help you avoid calculating grid point coordinates for your arranged assets.

Importing into the library multiple assets

With this time-saving feature update, it's now possible to reuse multiple pre-made assets from other libraries simultaneously. To give this a go, navigate to the 'import component option' within the library editor, then choose all the required parts from within another library. In moments, all components are ported into your own custom library, ready to be customized or extended to meet your needs.

Rename and update the Ripup command

For this update, we have renamed the ripup command to UnRouted; this provides a better design experience in the PCB workspace. In addition to renaming the command, we have made some modifications to the panel to make it easier to understand the option besides including a new incomplete option. This new option will eliminate harmful humps left by existing traces and eliminate trace lines that are not completed. It saves you so much time since you no longer must look for them manually.

Add support for the Silkscreen layer's material properties

In the layer stackup manager, you will notice we have added layer stack-up properties for your silk screen layers. Silkscreen is a layer of ink traces used to identify components, test points, parts of the PCB, warning symbols, logos, marks, and more. Since silkscreen ink is not conductive, it can damage the quality of electrical contacts when it mistakenly protrudes into a solder mask clearance, resulting in the scrapping of assembled boards if the flaw is not identified during electrical tests. Creating a high-fidelity layer stack makes it easier to detect possible defects far earlier in the design process.

Improve VIA command
You will now notice that the dialog box includes a name field. Type in a new name for your via or select one from the Autocomplete list.  This time-saving feature will help you select yours via signal name without searching around your design for the correct name.

3D PCB now supports text on Solder Mask Layer

For this update, the text placed on the Solder Mask layer will now be reflected in the 3D Model.

Thank you for updates with new functions and still not the ones we expect, but in short, but on the other hand the software always crashes when updating libraries!!

WHEN WILL YOU SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS? WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO CONSOLIDATE WHILE THE FOUNDATIONS ARE NOT COMPLETED?????? like this ????
