Floating snapping grid

Hey! I'm currently battling with an issue that, for some reason, all the components seem to be snapping on their own grid, which is the defined correct size, either the main or the alt grid. However, it appears that the grids are not aligned on the same origin, and all the component grids are "floating" in space, slightly different from one another and the displayed grid. It does not seem to be an issue with the rotation either, as it does not change the snap origin. Is there some setting that is not correct, or are the end users supposed to write their own fixing scripts? I have the same issue on the PCB editor and on the schematic editor when creating new components. I'm using metric units if that makes a difference. 

TLDR, is there way to synchronize the grids of every component, and the displayed grid.

Hold down the CRTL key before selecting the component (or trace, or via, or....) and it will snap back to the new grid.

This seems to help when moving individual components, is there way to do this to all of the elements at once? As it seems to synchronize the grids, and the component appears to stay in the correct grid afterwards.

I hope you're doing well. You can do this to all components. Make a selection that contains only the components and then you can use the align to grid function, that's at the bottom of the inspector. There is also a ULP you could run called snap to grid sch.
