Fast 2D->3D PCB switch

is possible to make 2D to 3D PCB switch faster like in Altium?

Hi @silvio3105 ,

This is being worked on and the July release actually has some improvements on this front. Keep in mind though the the comparison isnt strictly apples to apples.  The 3D PCB in fusion contains much more detail by default compared to the altium rendering.

With that said we are always looking to speed things up. 🙂

Yes, I know that, but can AD make less detailed 3D for quick view?

Hi @silvio3105,

In the next release of Fusion 360 which is due out shortly you'll see that now when you push to 3D PCB you can configure what features get pushed to the 3D PCB. You'll actually see a preset for fastest, try it out and see if that works better for you.

Can user push 2D to 3D first time with lowest details and later with HQ details, without any problems?
It's not about details, it's about how fast is and is it pain in ass to do push every time(cannot be faster than pressing key to tiggle view).

Still takes 5-10 seconds to compute 3D PCB on fasest preset.
