Error list no longer auto advances

with the latest update the error list will no longer auto advance through the list as you hit accept. It used to be that if you selected an item in the error list, and then hit accept, it would automatically highlight the next one. Instead you now have to highlight the next one manually. This gets really tedious when you have a part who's footprint was made using some workarounds to fusion's shortcomings and it generates a ton of clearance or dimension errors that aren't really real. Example, since you can't easily make plated slots with fusion, I have a couple parts like USB C connectors that use one of the work arounds, and they always throw clearance or dimension errors from the overlapping features. Or some microcontrollers have a combination of pads and vias on their bottom pad that slightly overlap and "violate" clearance rules and need to be manually accepted. Having to manually click each one and then go back to accept is worse than the old behavior where you could just spam the accept button.

I do appreciate the update to highlight the part your cursor is over, that's a huge help from the guessing game it used to be trying to grab a via instead of a wire.

Hi! The issue with the error-list no longer auto-advancing has been identified and will be fixed in our March update. We're very sorry for this issue.

Slotted pads were actually introduced in May 2022 release: https://youtu.be/6ak-oTQNk8w?t=152

Does the error list is solved ?

It's been a year since I last used Fusion and I see that things aren't getting better! with each update there is another problem!!!! fortunately I only use Fusion for small, unimportant projects, otherwise I would have already lost my job!!!!

Hi Ritchie,

That's interesting! Thanks for confirming you are on the latest Fusion version (2.0.18719).

I'll send you a PM and if you are OK with it we can maybe have a call to talk about this issue in more detail.

Edit: I just noticed it does not auto-advance between categories e.g. if you approve the last error in a category it does not jump to the next category. Is that what you are seeing? That seems to be a remaining bug we have to address.

Hi

In fact I saw that the error windows is now on the left and with Stain remover menu, sorry I didn't see this new modification I I don't use Fusion very often for big projects anymore.

Best and sorry for the disturbing Pieter
