Editing libraries is getting really errorbrone. See problem I can not solve.

Hi there.

I tried to add one device with 3D part to one of my existing libraries what I did for years in EAGLE but now try to use F360 for that. Addin symbol, footprint was no problem. Adding theses infos to device also not but after that I ran into a problem by editing the 3D package and received a message that a newer version of the package is available. And I do not know to get over this. I am not able to roll back and delete what I have done because something is in use and I do not know what. I removed the parts from the design I was trying to use the new part and see how this is performing. Delete not possible. F360 tells ne that someone else had edited. But there is no one exept me.

What can I do?

Hi Richard,

welcome to F360 Electronics :-). I have similar experiences. Although I consider Fusion 360 to be excellent software, the Electronics module is as if in beta. I want to work in a new and modern environment. Therefore, from time to time I will try to start a new project in F360. And then I'll go back to EAGLE.

Really. It is NOT finished by the best. Very confusing. I got over this problem now but I am not really satisfied. Hints are missing what some of the error messages not only mean but what to do. Still I am confused why designs can not be removed although from my point of view are no more used elsewhere but still receiving messages about that they are used by other user which definitely not exists. Refrain from working in a team up to now. Alone it is confusing enough.

The Fusion Library system is Priority #1 this year and almost all of the work being done right now is to resolve these issues and this experience. Thank you for posting please continue to do so.
