Disable Silkscreen for Component

How can I disable the silkscreen for certain or all components? I have a PCB that is so small, that there is no space for component names and values, is it possible that i can disable the silkscreen for these components so that they won't get put on during manufacturing and isn't showing when exporting to 3D?

Hi @jason_frauchigerWC7YH,

I hope you're doing well. As far as manufacturing goes it's really easy to exclude the silkscreen layers. When you generate the gerbers or ODB++ files just disable the tNames and tValues  (and corresponding b versions) from the output.

Now excluding them from the 3D PCB is a little trickier. In the Display layers panel click the gear icon on the top right. That will open the layer manager. You'll see there is a section that says Editable layer Sets, these are the ones that control what layers get used for the silkscreen in the 3D PCB. Just make sure that the names and values layers are not there.

Let me know if you continue to run into issues.
