Disable part placement restrictions

Does anyone know a good way of disabling the live placement restriction of PCB parts that would generate DRC errors?

For example, I want to place a via on the edge of the board, so half the via remains after routing the edge of the PCB.

I could do this in Eagle, but not in Fusion 360.

My current solution is to set the board edge line to a different layer, place the part on the edge, then change the board edge layer back to the correct layer.

It's not ideal.

I'm hoping there's a better method.

Hi @lawrence.leesXRL2C

I hope you are doing well! The restriction you mentioned is our new feature Push and Shove in the August release.

You can change the Violators Mode to Ignore Violators Mode from the navigation bar so that it will allow you to place part without DRC check.

And you can see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4wkUCD9HSs&t=24s to learn more about the new feature

The 'new feature' is a major PITA. Why, oh why, is it on by default? It even screws up importing a DXF for the PCB outline.
