CVS BOM contains all components

Hi,

I've selected variant where R1 is DNP(do-not-place) and after that I used generic 2-layer CAM job to output gerbers and BOM.

R1 is exported even it should not be(since it's not in variant).

Now I see user can export BOM from schematic(one type of dialog) and from 2D PCB(CAM job).

Why complicate?

Hi @silvio3105,

The BOM ulp has always existed for the schematic and takes in the attributes and does all the awesome things it's always done.  The problem was that when you went to generate the manufacturing data you had to run the BOM.ulp first then the CAM processor. We attempted to simplify the process by incorporating the BOM.ulp into the CAM processor with some simplified options. 

There's still room to improve that since right now it has limited support of variants and that needs to change.

It would be nice to see one click CAM proccessor that exports BOM & P&P for all variants
