Crashes when trying to open PCB document

I'm currently using Fusion 360 on an M1 MacBook Pro. I created an electronics schematic, but when I try to create a PCB from the schematic (either by pressing the board icon in the design tab or by pressing command-2), a new black window opens, and I get an error from Autodesk. There is no error code, I am only able to report the error, but this problem keeps occurring. I have reinstalled the program to no avail - the program still crashes every time I try to create a pcb document from my schematic. Is there a way I can fix this?

Hi @HelenChen-AutodeskQA ,

Yes this worked (deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.autodesk.fusion360.plist).  I deleted the plist file, and was able to reproduce the steps:

1. create a project

2. create an electronics document

3. create a schematic

4. switch to PCB (no crash)

thank-you so much @HelenChen-AutodeskQA !

Hi @jkardach3R2M3,

Great to know that the workaround works for you!

Is there any chance that you might the deleted plist file is in your recycle bin but not deleted completely yet?

If yes, do you mind sending the plist file to us to investigate? Thank you!

Hope you have a great day!

Best regards,

Helen

Hi @jkardach3R2M3 ,

Sorry for a follow up question.

Did you reboot your machine after deleting plist file of Fusion 360?

Thanks,

Helen
