Component cannot be found when trying to import into a library

Hi everyone,

I am trying to add new components to libraries in our hub.

My workflow is to download the symbols and to load them from my computer into a temporary library to modify them according to our guidelines.

Subsequently, I want to import the component into our project/hub library.

However, when trying to import, the component cannot be found, see example below:

What is strange, when I then click "Open Library Manager", the same component can be found in two of our Hub Libraries, both being marked as "active":

Am I missing something here? Why can the component not be chosen for a library import?

Thanks for any help,

regards

Tobias

Hello @t_gemassmer ,

I hope this message finds you well. The issue here is that the import component dialog uses the old search which requires wild cards. So if you type SN7* you'll find the part you are looking for. Updating all of these dialogs is on the todo list but for now this is the way.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hi Jorge,
thank you for your support. Now it works, when using the wildcard, as proposed. 😊
Kind regards
