Hello everyone!
on my journey to get used to Fusion electronics I came across a problem and I hope that somebody can help me.
Dealing with boards with different net classes there are regulations that forces you to keep a distance between safety low voltage and for example mains. Usually in Europe you have to keep at least a 5mm distance between low voltage nets (let's say 5V) and mains (230V).
Filling out the 'Clearance Matrix' prevents routing into no go areas and handles clearance pretty well.
But what about creepage?
In real life scenarios I often come across limited board size and regulation demands and usually the solution is to define a milling path in places where to nets come to close to each other.
Generally the creepage distance is dependent on the dielectrics of the used board's material and the voltage.
Air shows higher resistance to creepage currents than for example FR4 material.
Is it possible to handle creepage distances with Fusion, especially in relation with multi layer boards where traces of middle layers might be too close to top or bottom layers.
