Changing how components are shown on schematics

I am sorry for asking, but it is so long since I have used this feature (or even Fusion in general) I forget how to do this thing.

I am designing a schematic (please, don't ask what it is) and this seems to be the best tool for what I want to do.

But I have a problem that I don't know how to change the ..... attributes displayed for a component.

This is a very cropped piece of what I am doing.

Note the two red arrows.

The second one is nicer than the first, but it would be nicer if I could put the "value" where the component name is.

But I can't find how to "hide" the component's "name" (R-whatever) and put the "value" at the top.

I may need to be shown in fairly obvious steps what to do.

I've messed around with things and got the "value" visible, but can't hide the "name".

And of course I can't attach file file as it is a NON SUPPORTED file type - which is weird, as Fusion made the file.

Ok, added as RAR file.

Yeah, I know I am kind of using the schematic thing for other things, but hey:  It is a good tool for it as I kind of am making a schematic.  Just not in the electronic sense.

Hi @mark33.in.oz,

Another option is to use the AUTOPOSITION attributes command, which allows you to roughly but quickly locate the name and value texts.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks.

All good tricks to know.

Just to be honest:

I am making a schematic of a "world" - if it isn't already obvious.

I am a humble user on a TRIAL license.

I was using Fusion to "cheat" and make the relevant small maps of the "important parts".

But with other things that have since happened I have had to move on from using this for THIS project.

The free one I have allows me to get up to A0 size paper and print as PDF.

So that is good for sharing.

I'll keep using Fusion now and then.  But this use has fallen badly.
