Cannot load edru file

If you are on the DRC screen and select "Save as" it will save the configuration as an .edru file. However, if you try to "Load" a file, it only allows you to select .dru files. It will not show files ending in .edru.

Hi Mike,

Apologies to hear you cannot load DRC .edu files. I have tried locally using the latest source-code and it seems to be working as expected, please see the video below:

 

If this is not working for you for whatever reason you can still enter "*.edru" in the File name edit in the Select DRU dialog and hit ENTER. This should force show all .edru files from the current directory if any exist.

May I ask what Fusion build version are you using so I can try using that as well and see what's teh behaviour there? 

Please let me know how you go with this.

Hi @constantin.popescuXD3CL ,

Thank you for the reply. I guess I should emend my report to say the .edru files don't show up by default. I can locate them if I use the Browse button. I'm running version 2.0.16009.

 

This screenshot shows what I mean. In the DRC Load pop-up window, I have selected the directory containing the DRC configurations I use. You'll notice only four options are displayed and "foo" is not one of them. To the right I have a Finder window open to the same directory. You can see foo.edru listed there. You'll also notice royal_advanced_4_large_ring.edru, which is an updated Fusion version of royal_advanced_4_large_ring.dru. It is not listed either, though that might be harder to detect since the two versions only differ by their extensions.

Hi Mike,

I can see now, that looks to me like an implementation gap that needs to be rectified. I will create a ticket so this is fixed as soon as possible.
