Cannot load 3d package into 3d pcb

Hi all,

I am mainly looking if someone could link a guide or similar, since I must have misunderstood something here:

Even though I have succesfully assigned 3d packages to the correct footprints, uploaded it to library.io and referenced the library via the cloud to my design in fusion360: No parts can be loaded into the design when genertaing 3d pcb.

It says: No box could be generated. So, unlike when not assigning a 3d package at all, it does not even create a flat box for the component.

So I tried a different method: Opening EAGLE instead, using the add 3d package method on components, and the update and tried to create a new design in fusion using the: sync to fusion360 command in EAGLE.

This yielded a result equivalent to not using 3D packages at all, generating empty boxes for the components.

Any tips on how to do this? Or any obvious mistakes I do? I need this asap but I'm running out of ideas 😞

Thanks in advance

Hello @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. Did you use a different hub or a different account for your libraries? This type of stuff happens when users have a library in a different hub than the one their model is.

Any details can help us narrow this down.

Thanks for your answer Jorge!

Yes, or at least quite close to that. I was signed in when editing the libraries, but I wasn\t when I tried to access them.

Best regards.
