Can't open electronic design examples

As soon as I open an electronics design example, Fusion360 crashes immediately.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Hi @ruben.crispino ,

I hope you're doing well. I've forwarded this to one of our colleagues for review.

Could you try the other electronics examples? Are they all crashing?

Hi @ruben.crispino,

By any chance did you try to import Altium files or install an Altium Addin. The crash is related to the use of an unsupported Altium add in.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

@jorge_garcia
Actually yes, I did try to import an Altium file some days ago.

Which is the add-in I need to remove?

@jorge_garcia I think I found the add-in you are referring to. Disabling it stops the crash.

This add-in I think comes with the Altium mcad co-designer. Do you confirm?

Thanks

Hi @ruben.crispino ,

Thank you for confirming, that add-in is not officially supported in Fusion 360 and it looks like it creates some real problems.

If you can keep it disabled then that will be best.
