Can't get XREF Table to show references

I'm have defined a symbol for a contactor, with XREF's as described in the Eagle Ref Manual.

When I place the gates into a test schematic I see the xrefs coords added alongside the gate instances themselves, and the symbols appear XREF table underneath. However there are no references in the table back to the schematic components.

@jorge_garcia - Any comment here please. The CONTACT_XREF shows no cross-ref information. Known issue? User error?
