Can't create square pcb, only spline shaped pcb's.

Coming from Eagle, I just want to create a pcb without designing a circuit first.

I can use Board Shape > Outline Spline, but Board Shape >Outline Polyline does nothing.

I just want to dimension the pcb and am stuck there at step one.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

No youtube videos on this simple step either.

I hope you are doing well!

I am not sure if you want to create an empty PCB. If this is your question, you can follow the steps:

1. New Electronic Design

2. New Schematic

3. Switch to PCB Document.

Then an empty PCB will shows up. 

And I also try the Outline Polygon command, it also works well for me.

At 00:30, you click "ok" button. When you do it you deactivate the function.

I think it's just that.

Wow! Talk about unintuitive.  One would think okay it want's me to select these options, then I hit okay and draw.

As @Anonymous  mentions, you need to keep the command dialog open when you want to run the command.

The rule is for all commands which have command dialog in Fusion 360.

I think in Fusion360 design it appears more like a context panel.

In Electronics Design it appears more to be a Modal box which begs to be closed before an operation.

Just my 2 cents.

What makes you think that the  a Modal box should be closed before an operation?
