BKM for using mult-gate devices in modules

I want to create multiple instances of a portion of a schematic, using a multi-gate package that is shared between the instances. i.e. each instance uses one gate of the multi-gate device.

I can place the sub-circuit into a module, and instantiate multiple times. However each instantiation creates a new instance of the multi-gate device, wasting the additional gates.

Is there a tried and tested way to do this, or must I resort to pulling out the connections from the module and placing the multi-gate device in the parent schematic (which defats the whole readability benefit of using modules in the first place)?

Hi @jonrbloom ,

I hope you're doing well. Thanks for posting. This is unfortunately not possible at this time, if you want to share the various "gates" a component between modules you'll have to place that multi-gated component on the top level schematic.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
