Autorouter does not rout any tracks or rout in a strange way

Hello,

I am wondering why my router routes in the below strange way.

The second problem is that if I add polygon layers for the GND node at top and bottom, the autorouter does not produce any tracks at all. The percentage at the top stops at where it starts which is about 30%. Like this:

Here are my settings:

It seems I need to wait for a long time before the percentage starts to change. Need polygon.

Hi @xh2373,

So what's happening here is that the topological autorouter is taking it's time to calculate the routes. What you are seeing are sketch paths that the toprouter creates and then passes them to the default algorithm.

The top router tends to produce better results but takes between 10-100x longer to run than the old brute force algorithm. If you let it run to the end you'll see the final result will be more reasonable, so don't worry about the intermediate steps. If you are in a rush you can use one of the old school runs which in the image are below the top router run.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
