Antenna patches on a PCB

I'm new to Eagle and I'm trying to design simple PCBs with copper RF antenna patches.  I think I understand how I link to a board in Fusion 360.  Although I can show the patches in Fusion 360, I suspect that I can only pull across the board with its shape and holes.  I also guess that I have to make custom components in a custom library in Eagle and then pull them back to Fusion 360 to show them on the bare board.

My main question is how to create an antenna patch as a custom component. I cannot show my real design but I attach a jpg of a very simple board with 2 copper patches with a hole at one end of each patch.

My ultimate aim is a very simple Gerber file for the PCB manufacturer.

I would very much appreciate assistance on this.

Hi @brian.butters,

I hope you're doing well. In the library, you would create a device that contains a footprint of the copper shape and a symbol to represent that feature. By compartmentalizing it that way you can reuse that copper geometry and place as many as you need on the PCB.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
