Amplifier Spice model (AD8056)

Hello, I am new in electronics and I have to make a project for my university class.

I am making a circuit with a AD8056. I downloaded a .lib for that from the AnalogDevice site. Now i need to simulate it in build-in Spice simulation and I need somehow to map the component. I also dowloaded a .cir file for the AD8056, but I don't know where to upload it. I know I have to define a spice model, but I don't know what to choose in Spice Type and how to make a .mdl from .cir.

Hi @d.huzarewicz,

I hope this message finds you well.  Just a small suggestion, it may be best to redraw the symbol as two op amps it will make your schematic easier to read.

If you can try uploading the .cir file for review. Currently, our SPICE engine requires a plain SPICE file but what you usually get from manufacturers is something like a PSpice file which would require a lot of modification to work. It looks like you perhaps want to simulate some version of a Sallen-key filter, you could simulate it with the ideal OP AMP model in the ngspice-simulation library. Which will be an easier introduction to simulation in Fusion 360 Electronics.

We are looking to revisit the SPICE engine in the near term so this whole experience will soon be much better.

Best Regards,

I want the 2 in 1 amplifier for easier PCB design, beacuase in the final project I will have 3 of these instead of 6.

I have to make the real simulation for the university report in the class.
