3D Package not showing properly... or pure incompetence from my side

Im having problems showing 90% of all my 3d packages when i go to 3d pcb view. I have the packages done the same using my 3d models from NKK switches in the right spot in the foot print when choosing "create package from foot print" and inserting my models and align them to the holes.

But ... its only one type of switch showing up. As seen in this pic, its the only one that have created a component when going to 3d view. The other only have bodies. And im pretty sure i have made them exactly the same way.

How can i solve this so all the 3d models are shown and pop up as components as my MB2011 NKK switch here. I really love this 3d preview feature. pcb 3d view only one type of swtich is showingpcb 3d view only one type of swtich is showingthis is how all my packages are med. inserting 3d models and align them to footprint and then publish to lib and update same.this is how all my packages are med. inserting 3d models and align them to footprint and then publish to lib and update same.

Can you check the version number of the 3d packages and see if the drawing is using the latest version?

No its many revision back. It doesnt update when i press that update buttons in library tab in the pcb 2d drawing file.

Do i have to replace all the components after i edit the 3d package each time? or should it work, and it should pick up the latest 3d package that i have made and posted with "Finished"?

Just as example. This only picks up revision 48 when it should be many many changes after that. The latest can be seen up there, its 83 now. But at the time it was like 50. So there is something wrong there. I have made all the footprints my self, i usually start with making the schematic, then the footprint, then device and then finally i make 3d package from the footprint tab and insert to design my 3d model of the switch i wanna use. I place the pins of the switch in the holes from the footprint and save and finish. Should work?Anteckning 2020-04-02 221356.png

Hi @japmaco ,

"i usually start with making the schematic, then the footprint, then device and then finally i make 3d package from the footprint tab and insert to design my 3d model of the switch i wanna use. I place the pins of the switch in the holes from the footprint and save and finish. Should work?"

This is all correct and it should work.  Can you try this:

  1. Open your electronics design
  2. Close the 3D PCB and 2D PCB document
  3. Update the library in schematic;
  4. Switch to 2D PCB;
  5. Update the library in 2D PCB.
  6. View 3D PCB
