Hi @mattmoritz ,

I hope you're doing well. Are you saying you exported the supplied library from Fusion 360 as an EAGLE library and then imported it back in? Depending on the format you can strip all of the 3D data and lose the models.

Generally this isn't necessary. Could you provide more info on what you are trying to do?

No, i want to load some supplied librarys from the local source to my fusion-team hub folder to get a

base for my own customisation.

As i understood, i have to load it up before i can change anything.

I'm not working with library.io or older EAGLE librarys.

Hi @mattmoritz ,

What's the local source? I would expect that they don't have any 3D models already in them so you shouldn't expect to see any within Fusion 360. Uploading them would be the correct approach.

I hate to insist on figuring out what the source is but if it's something like Ultralibrarian or SnapEDA they may have certain things in the file which we may need to debug.

In the first screenshot you can see the Local Source Libs from Fusion on my local disk.

Here for example: DIODE

On the right side you can see the 3D models.

Why are the 3D models not included in the library ?  It seems to me, that they came from an

library.io link ?

After copying the DIODE library to the fusion team folder, i can't see the 3D packages in the library window.

It is necessary to upload every single 3D model to the fusion team folder, instead of having them all in the

folder by executing the copying of the library ?

Thanks for your response

Matt
