3d body allign with footprint

Sorry, maybe stupid question but just start with Fusion electronics. Have 20 years experience with Eagle and Altium.

I'm trying to align my 3D-body with the footprint.

However it's hard do do it by moving the body around.

Is there a possibility to get the body flush with the board and the pin exact in the hole?

grabbing an arrow, or a circle lets you move the 3D model in steps in the direction of the arrow or circle

this doesn't work well because the step sizes are big compared to how far you need to move or rotate

 

type in a number in the dimension box to move in smaller steps

use the orientation cube in the upper right to look at the alignment from different points of view

usually parallel to the pins and perpendicular to the pins works

if you look from the side, you can see if the model and the footprint are where they should be
