What is pin slot as a pocket?

I am trying to understand a pin slot feature but there is a statement that describe the pin slot as a pocket whose boundary is two parallel edges connected with half circles.

Hi @jimi_hunter008 I pulled up some documentation for you that may explain this better than I can with words

Fusion 360 Help | Joint types | Autodesk (look for the pin slot definition there)

There is an animated example of pin slot on the following page

Fusion 360 Help | Create a joint | Autodesk

Let me know if that helps to provide some clarification or not.
