Sign In Failure- F360 online

My students cannot log into F360 on their Chromebooks, nor can I on my Desktop.  We get the message "Sign In Failure- There was an error while logging in to Fusion 360."

Everything worked fine on all machines last Friday.

Hi  @price

We're not seeing any issues on our side, nor have other schools reported an issue. Is it possible that your IT Admin made a change to the network or system clock? Here is a link to an article that they can reference. Sign in error solutions.

Keep us posted.

Hi @amber_arizpe

Are your students seeing this error today when running Fusion 360 online? Last week, we deployed an update to address the 504 error that some schools were seeing. If so, can you try the following?

  1. Clear the cache on a Chromebook
  2. Run Fusion 360
    1. Start your Chrome browser
    2. Create a new Incognito window
    3. Go to https://fusion.online.autodesk.com

Thanks,

-Dan

So, the 504 has cleared up but now I am getting "sign in failure" error on the virtual machine. The solutions for this wants me to change date/time on the machine. But the machine is virtual and I can't access the date and time on the virtual machine.

Do I just let the account time out? For how long does the virtual machine stay alive?

Hi @amber_arizpe and @price

Can you please try to run Fusion 360 online again. I learned that there was a degradation this morning but should be fine now.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @price & @amber_arizpe

The team found an issue with a server on the west coast and is redirecting the traffic to a different server. This will start to fix this issue. Please keep us posted.

I was having this same issue in Wisconsin last week using a Chromebook running Fusion online. I will test tomorrow to see if anything is resolved.

Hi @price & @roberttmccann94

I wanted to check-in, are you and your students now able to see Projects in the Data Panel. If you're still having this issue, can you reply back with the following information:

  1. How are you running Fusion 360: Windows, Mac or the Online version.
  2. Is the project a Folder-Level Project?

To determine if the active project is a Folder Level Project, open The Data Panel, ensure the correct project is active  and click the People Tab. If your screen resembles the following image, it's a Folder-Level Project.

All but 2 of my students were able to see their projects today in class using the Fusion web app on a chromebook. I was able to see their projects when on my downloaded version on my Mac.
