In my classes, with the tools available at the time, I created a team for the school and then I created a project for each student and made it a secret project and invited them to it. That way I could see the data for all students, but when the students went to their data panel, they would only see their data.

With recent changes to Fusion Team, there are even better tools for things like this. Would everyone here like to learn more about those tools? Any other examples of things you would like to see or tips and tricks you have that you find to work well with your students?

The new Team tools have been great, they were released this Spring and I have revamped the way I manage students.  I have the ability to control what a student can see, edit, etc.  Still retain the ability to view and edit their work.   They are unable to see other student's work to copy.   You can edit at folder level the permissions granted to everyone.  Here is a quick preview of how I setup my class.  There is a link or videocast around that goes into greater detail.  I will see if I can locate it... But for now, I did a quick Screencast video of my setup.  https://autode.sk/34uN00M

Here is a great intro to the new Teams for classrooms - Education Preview – Enhanced Roles and Permissions | Fusion 360 | Autodesk Knowledge Network

Here is another good explanation for managing the accounts - Manage teams in Autodesk Account | Account Management | Autodesk Knowledge Network

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for sharing how you're using the new Folder-Level Projects in your classes.

Another tip is how Stephen created the video. You can use Autodesk Screencast to create videos that captures all the clicks and keyboard activity. It's a great teaching tool.
