Render does not work

Hello. Can you help me with this? The problem is this (rendering does not work in Fusion 360) I was advised by support (Try resetting Fusion 360 to the default values: How to reset Fusion 360 to default layout) and nothing has changed. Below is a video of how the "advice" from support works, I've been struggling with this for three days and I don't know what to do.

Hi @volodimirmotorin In your start menu, you fill find called the Autodesk Fusion 360 Service utility. There will be a repair option that you can use to repair, reset, or uninstall Fusion. I would start with repair and if that doesn't work I would try the reset option.

Let us know if that changes anything for you.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi @volodimirmotorin Are you on the most current version of Fusion? Can you post your build number please? You can bind that by clicking on the question mark in the upper right and then choosing about.

Thanks,

Kevin

@volodimirmotorin Could I ask you to try running a cloud render rather than doing it locally on your machine? Can you also try doing a really quick render on another file? I would love to try and narrow down where the issue lies and doing these things could help!
Thank you

@volodimirmotorin I am glad you can complete renders to get your work done for now, but lets still try to get to the bottom of why local rendering isn't working!
1. Would you be willing to share your computer's specs?

2. are you able to try logging in to a different PC with Fusion 360 installed and seeing if local rendering works on that device?

3. Are you on the most recent version of Fusion 360?

Looking forward to your response!

Ok thanks, Can you make sure that your computer is completely up to date on its graphics drivers, Windows updates?

Is there any progress on the issue?

Hi @volodimirmotorin Just wanted to give you a heads up that this is a tricky one.

Do you have access to another computer that has Fusion installed? Can you try to render on that computer and does it work there? If you go to fusion.online.autodesk.com, login, and kick off a local render there. Does that work for you?

I think trying to see if you can render using a different computer will be helpful to diagnose the problem.

Thanks,

Kevin

On another computer local rendering works, but I want to render on my laptop.

@volodimirmotorin Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have been trying to find out why this may be happening.
Since it works on other computers it is likely to be a system issue with your device. Can you send me a screenshot of your graphics diagnostic?

In addition to what Oliver has asked for in your logs, something things just become corrupt or there are conflicts in your system that cause issue. I've spent hours with customers trying to figure out what is causing an issue without success. And that is certainly an option for you. I've also had good luck with using the reset option found in Windows 10 and 11 to reset your OS back to a clean install. Note that you need to be careful with this option and make sure you have your files backed up, you know all of your software keys, etc. That may fix the problem you are having but will require you to reinstall any x86 based programs to your computer. Again, they say they will retain your data but please make sure you have backup made before you reattempt this option.

It's hard to say what the problem might be. But I think we can say it is isolated to your computer since you can create local renders on other computers. Now the trick is most likely to decide if it is worth a lot of your time to try to figure out what might be causing the problem, or to decide if it would take less time to start fresh. Again, making sure you have a backup of your data and software keys etc.

Thanks,

Kevin
