Ramp tool path problem !!

I am conducting incremental single-point forming.

I selected a ramp tool path; when the forming process reaches the button, the tool retracts to the top of the workpiece and then the process continues.

What should I do to prevent the retraction, so that the forming can continue continuously until the process ends?

Hi @musabismail32 I'm not exactly sure the reason why it is doing what you see. Can you share the file? I'd like to see if I could change a couple of settings to make the tool stay down as well as try one other toolpath that might give you better results. Do you need the tool to helix down the face of the pocket?

Before the new update, everything worked perfectly, and I even conducted a successful trial experiment without any retraction. Now, with the upgrade, everything has changed, and I'm using SINUMERIK 828D BASIC.

On the basis of a CAD model, code was built for Siemens 810D compatible with the 808D controller. however, the 810D post-processor no longer works now.

Hi @musabismail32  instead of the code, can you please post your Fusion file with the CAM that is giving you this result?

thanks,

Kevin

Hi @musabismail32 I wasn't able to get that retract out of their. I'm not done and want to run this by some people from the team that develop these toolpaths. I am attaching a file with some alternate toolpaths that might be suitable for you that don't have the retracts at the bottom.
