Locked account

I'm having a problem regarding an account. I'm using an educational licence (teacher) and can't get acces anymore to the account that I used with my class last year in 2022. I can see the files and open them due the fact that I'm basic mode. The specific account was initaly made by one off my students, but I removed al the participants at the end off the year. What would be the best way to get full acces back to that account. Kind regards Steven De Smedt

Hi @steven_desmedt. Once you renew your account, everything should work for you again. Follow the link below to go through that process.

Autodesk Education | Students and Educators | Renewing Access

Thanks,

Hi @steven_desmedt
So educational licenses work on a 1 year cycle. This means that each year, you have to renew your access by proving that you are still associated with an educational institution.
It sounds like 1 year has passed on your access and you need to renew. You can verify and do this by going to this page.
1. Make sure you are logged in

2. look at the banner at the top of the page. It is likely to say "renew now" or something similar.

3. click this button to begin the renewal process

4. once you have been confirmed and have education access...go back to the above page and begin a download of Fusion 360. The download itself is not important, but it triggers a new Fusion 360 license on your account.
5. Log out of fusion and log back in. You should now have an active education account again!

If these steps don't work or you need more help don't hesitate to reach out!

Hello Olivier,  It took a bit off time to formulate the problem better. I have access to my normal educational account and that is renewable without any issue. Now the problem is that I have a lot of files on another account that was initially made by a student from the year 2021-2022 but is not more active in our organization, I was the co-user of this account and not the head user. I can see the files, but can't work on the original sketch. It would be very helpful if I can transfer all the files to my account.

Kind regards,

Steven De Smedt

Hi @steven_desmedt

Thanks for posting the file.

I'm able to edit the sketches by either double-clicking in the Timeline, or right-clicking on the Sketch entries in the Timeline and clicking Edit Sketch from the menu. Are you not seeing the sketch data as shown in the image?
