Generative Design Module not accessible in Education License

Hi,

I have an education license but I am not able to access the generative design module.

For me it is greyed out and Fusion 360 tells me that I have to buy a subscription to use it.

Is the generative design module not part of the education license? Or is there something wrong with my account?

Thanks in advance

Tobias

Hi @hoeffel.t,

Thanks for posting your question. Autodesk Education accounts with a current Fusion 360 subscription / license can run Generative Design. However, to run a Generative Design study, the Education account must use a school email address (no generic accounts like Gmail). This is the same email you log into Fusion 360 with.
You can change the email address for your Autodesk account at https://profile.autodesk.com/security.

Hope this helps.

Hi and thanks for your quick response.

I tried changing the mail address to my university one. Now it works.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello, if I change my registered email address to the school email as suggested above, is there any risk of losing data or access to my existing files? Thanks!

Hi @hoeffel.t

Great question. Changing your email address on your Autodesk account will not change your Fusion data.

Thanks,

-Dan
