Fusion 360

Just downloaded Fusion 360 and a book from Ascented. For a basic example... will I be able to animate a box on a conveyor belt in 360? I believe Inventor calls it motion dynamics... and uses gravity to where the box would fall off at the end. I want to show how a sphere would be picked up and moved by a part and flow along and fall down and bounce off obstacles in its way. Is that asking for too much in 360? Am I making sense? Thanks in advance!

Hi @heyrobert

Good question. Fusion does not yet have Dynamic Simulation. Inventor would be the solution for this scenario.

Hope this helps.

Oh, ok... bummer. Is there a plug-in by chance? If not, tell Autodesk to hurry up and include Dynamic Simulation in 360. :o) Thank you so much for your reply, I appreciate it!

Hi @heyrobert

I'm not aware of a Dynamic Simulation plug-in for Fusion.

Does anyone have any insights to a Dynamic Simulation plug-in for Fusion?

Thanks,

-Dan
