Simulation blocked at 1%

Hello everyone,
For the past few days, I have been having problems performing simulations on Fusion360.
Indeed, as soon as I launch a calculation, the resolution launches and remains blocked at 1% for hours without ever advancing or giving a result. The problem is present whatever the type of simulation on the cloud (but for example, no problem to make renderings in high quality on the cloud).
My file that I am simulating does not encounter any problems because I have already carried out simulations on it with results in a few seconds generally. I tried with other files that I had previously simulated on Fusion360 and identically the resolution of the simulation remains stuck at 1%.

I'm using Fusion360 on MacOS Ventura (MacBook Pro 2022) with an Education license. I use stable, high-speed Wi-Fi. I uninstalled and installed Fusion360 three times without success. I'v disabled my antivirus software and nothing changes.

Do you know where this problem can come from?

Thanks!

Hi @ramialmuf

Is it just this one file that is failing? If so, can you attach the .f3d?

I'm not seeing any issues with Fusion. You can check the Health Dashboard for the status of Autodesk Cloud Services: https://health.autodesk.com/

Earlier this week, there was an update to Fusion 360. Please verify the version of Fusion that you are running. On the top-right corner of Fusion click on the ? > About. The current version is 2.0.15775.

Can also try to run Fusion 360 from a browser (Chrome is preferred) by going to https://fusion.online.autodesk.com and sign in with your Autodesk Education ID (same email that you log into Fusion 360 with).

Please keep us posted.

Hello @dan.banach !

No, all files and also the simple simulation on a single volume. And I'v tried with files that were working for the simulation but now doesn't work with the resolution.

This problem seems that it appeared from last thursday.

I'v already checked the Health Dashboard but nothing wrong on it...

I have the earliest version of Fusion360 (like you can see on the file attached).

I'v just tried with Google Chrome on my MacBook and still the same problem... The resolution is blocked at 1% (like you can see on the second screenshot).

Thank you for your answer !

Hi @ramialmuf

Thanks for the additional information. A few more  questions and ideas.

  1. Since the browser version of Fusion also fail, has anything changed on your computer or network?
  2. Does this issue occur on your school's and your home Wi-Fi?
  3. Are others at your school able to run a Simulation?
  4. Is you Mac up-to-date and are all drivers updated?
  5. Have you run through the suggestion in these two articles?
    1. File stuck in upload queue in Fusion 360
    2. "An error occurred while solving the model" when running Local Solve within Fusion 360.

Keep us posted.

-Dan

Hey @dan.banach

1. No change on my Wi-Fi or Macbook.

2. I’ve tried on my home and school Wi-Fi. Also, I’ve tried with my « Connection Sharing » on my phone.

3. I think I’m the only one in my school using Fusion360…

4. All drivers are updated and my Mac also.

5. I’ve already made the second link and I’ve just tried with the first one, nothing new…

Thanks,

Rami

Hi @ramialmuf

Do you have access to a second computer to run Fusion on?

Can you attach your Fusion 360 log files. Here is an article that explains How to manually collect diagnostic log files for Fusion 360.

Thanks,

-Dan

Hi @ramialmuf

Thanks for the log files. I sent them to the engineering team to review.

I looked at your account, and I don't see a Fusion Team associated with your email. Can you attach a screen capture of what you see in the Data Panel under the Fusion Team switcher as shown in the image.

Hi @ramialmuf

Please try to resubmit a Simulation study. The engineering team cleared your online queue,  this may have caused your issue.

Please keep us posted.
