new project greyed out

Hi,

I am using an education license. I am unable to create new project as the button is greyed out. I cannot rename other folders when I try the following error message appears at the top left of the screen:

ERROR_ENTITLEMENT_NOT_FOUND - Not Allowed PUT /communities/api/admin/update for b78a7154a083.1638b8c3451

I have just updated and this did not rectify the situation

any help would be great

Hi @edward.johnsonJMRKH 

It's possible that you don't have a current Fusion Education License. Can you please run through the following steps.

1. Sign into the Autodesk Education site.
2. On the Individual tab, on the Fusion 360 product card click "Get product".

3. Click on "ACCESS".

4. Launch Fusion 360 (if you're running Fusion from a browser, you can cancel the install).
5. If the Education license does not appear on the top of the screen as shown in the following image, sign out and back into Fusion 360.

It looks like your Education Eligibility expired on July 20, 2023. When you sign into Autodesk Education site

you should be prompted to renew your Eligibility. Then you can follow the steps above to acquire a Fusion Education License.

Thanks, I tried to check that but didn't know where to find it (the account is still working so I thought it would be OK.)

I have renewed my education account and waiting on approval lets see if it works.

Hi,

I received an email saying my education licence was accepted but I still have a countdown in fusion saying trial ends in 5 days.  I am really worried now that it will not work next week when I present to students 😞

any ideas?

After confirming your Autodesk Education eligibility, you need to acquire the desired software license(s). Please do the following.

1. If needed, sign into the Autodesk Education site.
2. On the Individual tab, on the Fusion 360 product card click "Get product".

3. Click on "ACCESS".

4. Launch Fusion 360 (if you're running Fusion from a browser, you can cancel the install).
5. If the Education license does not appear on the top of Fusion's screen as shown in the following image, sign out and back into Fusion 360.

Let us know if these steps change your trial to an Education License.
