Is Fusion 360 Machining Extension Free for Educators?

Hello, I was wondering if Fusion 360 Machining Extension free for educators or has to be purchased?

I'm getting toss around from the commercial and education side of Autodesk trying to find my answer.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @license_manager79PGU  Yes, the machining extension is included for education. You still have to enable. Go to the solution for this thread and you will see how you can access the machining extension as an educator.

Awesome, thankyou so much @kellings. I been waiting for a response form Autodesk Education for days on my case but it looks like using the forum is much better.

@kellings / @LeoWarren-EDU ,

Kevin / Leo,

I hope you can clarify please.

Are the Fusion 360 Extensions available to educators? I just signed-in today and the website reports free to access for 30 days. That would be difficult to show these tools during a full semester if they time-out after one month.

Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your replies.

Regards,

Jerry

Hi @JBernsLM

Educations accounts can access the Extensions for free by doing the following (The Extension will need to be renewed every 30 days, follow the same process).

  1. On the top-right side of the screen click Extensions

@dan.banach,

Thank you for the confirmation. I could not find any information in writing that the extension could be renewed every 30 days.  This will be very helpful. Thanks again, Dan.

Jerry
