Hi @SuncoastTechnicalCollege

Can you confirm that you reassigned your student a Fusion license from the User Management > By Product at as shown in the image? The URL is: https://manage.autodesk.com/user-access/products/product-list

Yes I verified that.  I unassigned and then reassigned.  I think it started the automated ball rolling again. He got an email right away looking for verification. Then I provided him with our standard notify letter.

Hi @SuncoastTechnicalCollege

Thanks for confirming. If you assign the student a license, the student will receive an email and if they don't have an Autodesk Account, they'll be prompted to create their account and password. They shouldn't go through the verification process.

Let us know if the student is being asked to submit documentation for their eligibility.

Thanks,

-Dan

He did get a notification at 12months from his initial edu.   I wasn't aware of that.  So I think by un assign and then reassign it triggered a new notificationprocess.   On my edu end it does not show that his license has expired.  can we add that to the system ?

Hi @SuncoastTechnicalCollege

Sounds like the students created his/her own account and acquired a Fusion license of last year. Once the student renews their eligibility they can also renew their Fusion license. See the steps below. If the student does not do this, and once their individual eligibility and Fusion license expires, the license you assigned should kick in.

To acquire or renew an individual's Fusion 360 Education license, do the following.

  1. Create or renew your Autodesk Account in a Chrome browser in Incognito mode.
    1. Start Google Chrome in Incognito Mode on Windows 11 / 10 · Right-click the “Google Chrome” shortcut on your desktop and then select New Incognito Window.

      2. Log into the Autodesk Education site and if needed verify your eligibility.

      3. On the Individual tab, on the Fusion 360 product card click "Get product".

    4. Then click "ACCESS".

      5. Launch Fusion 360 (if you're running Fusion from a browser, you can cancel the install).

      6. If the Education license does not appear on the top of the screen as shown in the following image, sign out and back into Fusion 360.

Please keep us posted.

in Normal chrome was able to fill out data
Then asked for id or teacher form
supply student with a teacher form and he uploaded and now is on 48 hour verification.

I know the process - when a student uses a school email is just about automatic
if they use personal email = then they need to provide verification

Hi @SuncoastTechnicalCollege

Can you please private message me the student's email address that he/she is using? I'll see if this account is going through export control or if there is another issue.

In the meantime, you can assign the student a Fusion license. Please refer to pages 8 - 14 in the Fusion 360 Educator Guide.

Thanks,

-Dan
