Hello!
It's been over 15 days since I asked to open an account for my school. I haven't heard anything. The only message I get from the "agent" is that my request will be processed within 48 hours. However, the deadline has long passed. I'd like to be able to start my introduction to 3D with my students soon.
Where can I go to speed up the process? How can I reach a real person and not an IT agent?
Thanks for your help!
Have a nice day!

Sorry for the delay that you're seeing. I can see support case "20914839" was created on September 20th. Is there another case number as well? I escalated case "20914839", I'll let you know what I find out.
Thanks for your patience.

Your account has been verified. Please sign into the Autodesk Education site.
Please let me know if you have success.
Thanks,

Hello!
First of all, thank you for your quick response! That's great!
However, I have two questions:
1. When I launch my application, it says that I have a 30-day free trial. Is this normal?
2. How do I add my students? How do they get a free license? Do you have a procedure for me to follow?
Best regards,
Alain Guinand
Good questions.
To assign your students licenses, please go to page 8 in this document: Educator’s Guide to Onboarding and Offboarding Students
After confirming your eligibility , you then need to acquire licenses for the desired software. Please try the following steps to change the trial to an Education license.
Please let us know if these steps answers your questions.

Hi Dan!
Don't you ever sleep ;-)?
I don't have the same things showing up at my house.
On the first picture, when I click on your link and I am NOT logged in, there is the Individual or Class Lab option displayed and Get License below Fusion360. However, nothing happens when I click on it.
When I log in, I no longer see Individual or Class Lab, and below Fusion 360, I now see the Get Licence option. When I click on Get Licence, a window opens as in the 3rd image. In this window, I click on Download For Mac, install the application and get the same result with a 30-day license.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for the images. What is your position at your school; educator or IT Admin?
From the images, I can tell that your current Autodesk Education profile is set to IT Admin. IT Admins can only get software for their school, not individual licenses.
An Educator can get both individual licenses and assign up to 125 licenses to their students. By assigning licenses, students do NOT go through the verification process. The students receive an email stating that they've been assigned a licenses and are prompted to create their Autodesk account and password (if they have not done so previously).
If needed, I can place a request to have your account reset.
Please let me know.

Hi @alain.guinandCJSY3 I’ll let Dan chime in on this too, but I know why you are seeing what you are seeing. When you created your account you choose the IT option as your role. A license isn’t available for that role, only the abili ty to download and do the installation.
I believe Dan will need to submit a request to have your role changed. I’m sure he will swing by and verify that in this thread.
Kevin
Hello Dan and Kellings. That's right, I got my part wrong. I'm an educator. Could you change my role and tell me again what I need to do next?
Thank you very much!!!
Thanks for confirming your Role. I'll place a request to have your Autodesk Education Profile reset. This should be done early next week.
I'll keep you posted on the status.

Hello Dan,
This is the message I received: I understand that you need to add your student accounts so you can use Fusion 360. However, I can see that you are an IT admin account. As an IT admin you will not have access to Fusion 360. Only student accounts can access Fusion 360 via a single-user subscription or educator accounts can access Fusion 360 via multi-user subscription and assign seats to their students. As an IT admin you can follow the article below if you wanted to set up Fusion 360 in a lab environment.
But I'm not going to be an IT ADMIN, I'm going to be an Educator. How do I go about it?
Thank's!
Sorry for the confusion. I can confirm that last week I submitted a request to have your Education Profile reset. I'm expecting this to be completed today. I'll let you know when I hear from the team about your account reset.
Thanks,
-Dan
Your account was reset. Please log in and recreate your Autodesk Education Profile as an Educator.
Please keep us posted.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for your help. Is this the right page to edit my profile? Is this correct?
Best regards
Thanks for asking. Please follow these steps:
Note: You may need to submit additional documentation before your eligibility is approved.
Please keep us posted.

Hello Dan!
I changed my role and transmitted the document to obtain my eligibility.
As a result, I now have to wait 48 hours max for a reply, right?
Thanks for the update. After uploading your eligibility documentation, SheerID will review your documentation. Let me know if you don't hear from them in the 48 hours.
For those reading this thread in the future. When uploading eligibility documentation, there are three requirements for the Eligibility Documentation.
Eligibility Documentation
Hope this help.

Hello Dan!
I'm coming back to you because I haven't heard from you since my new request. Could you use your superhero powers to help me?
Sorry that you didn't hear back from SheerID, I'll submit a request for the team to look at your account.
I'll keep you posted.
-Dan
I learned that the faculty ID you submitted, was missing the organization name “Etablissement Primaire Et Secondaire Bercher - Plateau Du Jorat (Bercher)”. Please upload a document that must has the three requirements for the Eligibility Documentation. In your case, uploading a completed documentation template and a link to your school's website that list you as an employee.
Notes:
Hope this helps.
