Fusion Cloud Libraries

We are setting up our tool libraries right now and several of my students keep getting an error when they try to create a cloud library. It says failed to create library. We tried importing libraries as both tools files and json files and neither works.

I tried a complete fusion reset today following directions on the web for one student and it still didn't work.

Suggestions?

Hi @pdelosa Is everything else functioning for the students that can't upload tool libraries? They can save files, see other projects or files in the Team etc? Are they using their own Team or a class Team? Is Fusion installed locally or are you running it in a browser by going to fusion.online.autodesk.com?

One thing you could try is to go to your data panel. Browse to the assets project and then click the CAMTools folder. When you get to that folder, in the upper right of the data panel will be a globe with an eye on it. Click the eye and that will log you in to your online view of your data. There you can find the CAMTools folder and upload your tool library there. Close and reopen Fusion. Do you see your tool library that way?

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks, I'll give this a try tomorrow in class.

We are using the desktop version of Fusion and everything else seems to be working correctly. I have about 40 students and only about 5 are having this issue.

They are on our team, their accounts are up to date, and everything else is good as far as I can tell.

I tried this with one student today. He didn't have an Assets project.

Apologies for not seeing this earlier. To see the Assets folder, you have to enable cloud libraries in preferences. To do that, click your account profile in the upper right. Then click MFG in the lefthand pane. Once you do that, enable cloud libraries.

Hello @pdelosa,

If the students are on your team (if I understood correctly) would you be able to check what roles they have assigned. As if they've been assigned "Project Contributors" then they will not see the Assets folder.

Just a first guess!

This article may help!

They are definitely project contributors. Do I need to add them to the assets project?
