I don't know, but since the last Fusion 360 update my install of Fusion became terribly slow and unreponsive.
And I am sure the cause is not my internet or my PC.
So, does anyone else have this problem? Please let me know.

Hi @Toad128128
Are you running a Windows or Mac with Fusion installed or the online version?
Keep us posted.
As a side note, this forum is intended for educators, here is a link to the Student Group Hub

Hi @Toad128128
Thanks for accepting my post as the answer. For the benefit of the community, what solved the speed issue?
Thanks,
-Dan
I am sluggish because streamer.exe is running 3 times on my teacher lab install. My home computer has no issues
This is strange, when I run Fusion on a Windows computer I don't see any "streamer" files in my Task Manager. A couple follow up questions
Thanks,
-Dan
Hi @SuncoastTechnicalCollege @Toad128128
I checked with the Fusion team and they said that you can stop the Streamer services that are running. The Streamer should only be used for install or update. The team is looking to see if this is an issue with the last update.
Thanks for reporting this issue.

I just checked student lab install computers and they have no issues BUT they are version 14133 - I never even see the streamer come on in task manager in student computers
my 2 - teacher lab install old version 2.0.17337 and new version V.2.0.14567 have the multiple streamers.
I just updated to Oct 19th update manually - like I usually do
I can end task in task manager - but ??
After the update is complete, you can stop the Streamer process. Since the students are probably logging in with their own credentials (not admin), I wouldn't expect them to see the streamer.
Have you looked at running the Auto-Download script to automate Fusion 360's updates? Learn more about the benefits of Auto-Downloads for Windows users and the set-up instructions here - see section 6 (page 14).
Thanks,
-Dan
the only way I see the streamer is when I am in task manager. and that CPU usage. I have no idea what it does. Otherwise I have no knowledge except slow computer.
I am not in charge of the updates in school , I dont have access - we have the IT staff that comes in and updates - they are aware of all previous scripts since about 3 years ago. But the IT dept has different people all the time. - so the lab installs and updates have been pretty good but maybe behind at some point. I think they are getting the same email as I do when the updates are pushed thru
