Fusion 360 stuck when sending simulation to the cloud - Educational license

Hi!

I'm having a problem when Fusuion 360 tries to send my simulation to be solved in the cloud. The program simply freezes during this process, with the mouse cursor loading endlessly and when I try to restart Fusion, my simulation is not even sent to the cloud. I've tried reinstalling Fusion 360 several times, but it keeps happening sooner or later.

I hope someone has a solution to this problem. Thank you!

Hi @esriel_saf

Can you please try to run Fusion 360 Simulation study from a browser (Chrome is preferred)? Go to https://fusion.online.autodesk.com and sign in with your Autodesk Education email and password.

Also, do ALL Simulation studies fail or just one?

Thanks,

-Dan

Thanks! I'm goig to try again another simulation and come back here with the feedbacks! The simulation studies do not fail, they simply are not sent to the cloud to be solved. Fusion 360 starts to prepare the simulation, however when it starts to send the studies to the cloud, it stucks at 30% and the mouse cursor loads endlessly and all the program cracks.

Hi @esriel_saf

Can you please try the following.

  1. Open Fusion 360 and the file with the simulation issue.
  2. Make the Simulation workspace current..
  3. In the browser, expand the Load Case and Loads.
  4. Uncheck and then recheck the Toggle Suppress option on a load.
  5. By doing this, there is no net change to the simulation setup, but this will require the simulation to be resolved.
  6. Save the file.
  7. Solve the Simulation.
