export with the correct scale

Hello there

I am trying this simple thing. Creating a objet of 24'' x 24 '' x 1'' in fusion 360.

I am then exporting it in Autocad and when i open the file , the 24'' is  69.96 ??

How can this happen ? what i am doing wrong ?

thanks for your help

Hi @dewagheneire.patrick

I see that you posted a similar question to the Fusion 360 Support forum about a scaling issue. Were you able to get the import in AutoCAD to work? If needed, I found this article that shows how to change the scale in AutoCAD. Have you tried exporting and importing a SAT or STEP file? These formats are commonly used for transferring solid models.

If needed, we can move this post to the AutoCAD forum, and see if that team can assist as the issue appears to be how AutoCAD is handling units.

Thanks,

-Dan
