Colorful Fusion model, not intentionally, not in the physical material or apperance

A student of mine is working on their work and in Nov time he started having random colours of his models coming in both in the parts and the assembly. 

 

As you can see, timelines are highlighted in a colours as well. 

presumably he has accidently turned on a setting somewhere, but no ideas where? 

Can anyone help?

Looks like Color Cycling is on. Here is a link to an article that gives more details.
