Activating the 125 Student licenses, when the only button is "Get License"

Can not get the 125 student licenses, once signed in the "individual or class/lab" tabs do not appear which is inconsistent to the documentation.  We ONLY want to use the online fusion360, and NEVER download/install the application onto any machine.  When at the list of products under fusion 360 it only has a "Get License" button which has a popup top download the software, again we can't download the software to install.  How can we activate the 125 student licenses? The documentation  appears to be outdated to whatever the "new" method to install the software is. Going to manage products, shows nothing. There is no Class/Lab or individual tabs when going to the educational site.  If browsing to fusion.online.autodesk.com it gives a "Internal Server error" if logged into my educational account, or asks me to "confirm my education status", click login (again), and then internal server error.

How can we just get the fusion 360 licenses added to our profile with out the needing a secret handshake, and it seems 15 re-logins, to just say "Congratulation! Your an educator" then click here to confirm on the very next page?

I have worked with a Account Engagement Specialist, but it seems every time I try to reach out to him it takes a week to then schedule a meeting to then find out its something he has to look into.  We have teachers getting on us to get this working, when this can't be solved by us.  Then trying to open a support ticket, just find out, hey you're not eligible for support and have to use the forums instead.

So to recap: How do I activate the 125 student licenses, without downloading ANY software onto any machine?  We use chromebooks exclusively for all students.

Hi @autodesklicense1ES9FB
When you created your Autodesk Education profile, did you select Educator?

If so, please try the following.

  1. Log into the Autodesk Education site and if needed verify your eligibility
  2. The get or update your Fusion 360 license; on the Fusion 360 product card click "Get product"

  1. Then click "ACCESS"

  1. Sign out and back into Fusion 360
  2. After acquiring your own license of Fusion 360, then you can assign licenses at https://manage.autodesk.com/home/

Hope this helps.

The "access" button doesn't exist, when you click the "Get License" button you get a popup on how to install the software that is all. The 2nd screenshot I posted previously is what happens when you click the "Get License" button, and I tried on my home computer to install the software and clicked the get educational access in the software but it assigned only a single license not the  125 student licenses.  I think Autodesk changes something recently that everyone's documentation is wrong.

Hi @autodesklicense1ES9FB

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like your profile is set to IT Admin. An IT Admin cannot assign students licenses. Only Educator accounts can assign licenses to students. Can you work with an Educator at year school to assign licenses?

Does this help?
