Wood simulation on Fusion 360

I use a MacBook air. I work on airplane models and use wood as main material. I need to run simulation on wood. Is there any alternative to fusion 360. (Maybe add wood sim in fusion) What can I use for mac to study wood or i’ll have to get solidworks ?

What do you mean by "Simulation", FEA? or CAM toolpaths?

You probably would want to check the design Forum they may be able to give you a better answer (Move @seth.madore ?).

Fusion can simulate wood in the simulation tab, I assume you would want a non-linear static stress simulation. What I see as the problem with Fusion is that it would require cloud credits for that rather than be able to solve locally on your machine, but I may be missing something.

Yeah non linear static test when initiated the wood is described as Non-linear material and fusion can’t run the simulation.

It says some components use a material with invalid properties.

If you can share the design, perhaps I can tag one of the simulation gurus.
