Why the Timeline does not capture Push/Pull?

Hi All,

 

Do somebody know why the Timeline does not capture the Push/Pull modification?

However, it is captured so many other (like delete face) ...

Push/Pull in this context is a DM feature and doesn't record to the time line as you have seen.

If you use the move tool with the options set to faces it will record to the time line.

The results will be the same but move can record to the time line.

Push pull operation completes successfully, but getting an error using move face. Operations don't appear to be equivalent.

In the original post the video shows Press Pull set to automatic. In this example it is modifying the existing feature so not captured in the timeline.

If you set it to New Offset it should capture the press pull in the timeline. Note it will actually create an offset face feature. At the time this thread was created you could only access Offset Face through Press Pull.

Fusion does now have Offset Face on the modify menu so no need to use press pull.
