Why does this extrude edit fail?

I'm designing a housing for a special electric motor. It will be 3D printed.  I created hexagonal recesses to accept hex nuts, but made them too deep, so I decided to edit the extrude accordingly. It looks a totally simple and valid thing to do, but it fails. Why?Failed extrude.jpg

The issue is in the sketch "Nose".

This is clearly highlighted yellow in the Timeline.

If you drag the Timeline marker to before the yellow highlighted Nose sketch and then Edit Feature 11 - you will not get an error as the issue is related  to Nose sketch.

Also, I notice that many of your sketches are not fully defined.

This is generally considered (at least by me) to be poor modeling practice and in my experience I would expect to see issues.

Edit:  Well I spent 5 more minutes digging and quickly found additional issues.

Hi,

as @TheCADWhisperer  has already said:

Correct the sketch so that the profiles are aligned.

Thank you for taking so much trouble for me. Your suggestion worked fine and the model is about to be printed.

I confess that I can't figure out why the "nose" sketch (which was created long after the "3mm" extrude) had any effect on the failed extrude edit, but it clearly did. I also don't know why I couldn't get the spline and offset to turn black to indicate fully defined. I changed the offset to remove the slight discrepancy you discovered, but it still didn't become fully defined.

Some of the sketches were not fully defined because they contain lines of arbitrary length placed in specific positions.
