Why do threads disappear (not deleted) just leaving the hole? Is this a hardware or software issue?

Often when I reach the end of my design, that's after tons of features added, I would notice threads missing from some holes in my design. I've learned to ignore it because at times they would be displayed again. But the problem really presents itself when I have to send off the design and the threads hasn't popped back up yet.

What to do?

Attach a file here that exhibits this issue.

How do you "send them off" and in what form(at) ?

are you using "modeled" threads?  Or, cosmetic threads?

When your design contains threads, there is a model setting for switching between cosmetic and model threads, as well:

I never got a complain about sending them as STEP Files, but as I said, it happens sometimes during designing that the threads disappear.

I always use the modeled threads display. I will sure to upload a file that mishaves again.

The issue seems to happen after I moved a face (offset) that has threaded holes in them. To avoid/correct that, I reordered the sequence of the edits in the history bar below.

I would be interested to see the design here, and how the offset causes the threads to disappear, and what feature order prevents that, if you are willing to share the design.

I will send a file once the problem presents itself again.
