Why Can't I Copy a Body?

I'm clearly doing something stupid, but what?

Basically, I want to copy a body, but although I select it and choose "copy", nothing happens. I expected to see another body appear in the browser, but nothing appears. What am I doing wrong?

Here's why I want to copy a body.

I have defined two bodies, (B1 and B2) that overlap, and want to end up with four things:

1. The intersection of B1 and B2. Call this B3.

2. The result of subtracting B1 from B2. Call this B4.

3. B2.

4. B4 and B3 together in their original relative positions, but not joined. Call this B5 - yes, I know this is 2 bodies).

When I specify to keep the tool used in the Boolean operations, how can I also keep the target without first copying it?

@lemelman

Ok lets deal with your copy paste issue first, after you copied the object did you paste in the new one?

@lemelman

I made a second video showing how to do the rest of what you want and as soon as it uploads I will post it.

Thanks Phil. Duh - that did it. I knew it was something stupid. In my previous CAD program a copied item was immediately available - it never occurred to me that it would need pasting, even though I do it all the time with text in Windows.
