In Fusion 360, text in a sketch cannot be constrained directly like other geometry, but you can control its position indirectly:
Anchor Point: The text box has a point (bottom-left corner) that can be constrained using coincident, horizontal, or vertical constraints to other geometry.
Dimensions: Use dimensions to control the distance from the text's anchor point to other sketch elements.
Fix/Unfix: Right-click the text and select Fix/Unfix to lock its position in place.
The text itself (font, size, etc.) isn't treated as fully constrainable geometry, so focus on anchoring its location.
unless you were to explode the text of course which would make it into lines that you could constrain fully.

Hi,

Hello, if someone could have a look at the 'Top 1' sketch and tell me why my text isn't constraining that would be much appreciated. I am trying to fully constrain the sketch.
There are a large number of overlapping lines between the text fields as well as between the text fields and projected geometries (magenta).
You now have to make sure that every single one of them is defined, but in my view this is a tiresome task.

@ColdCondenser - while fully constraining a sketch, in general, is a good practice, it is not a goal in itself. It is good to remember that fully constraining a sketch is helpful, mainly, when editing via parameters/dimensions/etc. IMO, it is not necessary to fully constrain every sketch, especially for hard-to-constrain items like text or fit point splines.
(also: the text is on the "Top 2" sketch, for others who are interested)
I think your sketch has a degeneration in it. if you delete all the text boxes, there is still a green point that is a part of the sketch but can't be deleted. this may be preventing the sketch from registering as fully constrained.
@Phil.E or @jeff_strater ?
doesn't that just mean the file is corrupted, what's the need to call the "big people"
just trying to learn...
New year Regards

*if theres no gemotry/mesh isue but doubt theres a mesh issue
I think it's a bug. seems to be related to manipulating text boxes.
(it's doesn't seem to be related to having a fixed constraint applied, as was the case in the other thread you were looking at here-
