Which Body Or Feature Is Being Projected

I often see projection symbols that I am unable to determine the body or feature they represent.

See an example in attached drawing. Sketch was created on back of the block. I didn't create any projections on this sketch. The projection symbol is at top middle. Thought it was projecting the end of blue line, which separates two surfaces. If this is true, why doesn't the point to the left show a projection symbol? If there is a simple way to determine the projecting body or feature, and you provide it, I can probably figure out the answer. If not, I can upload the model.  Thank you,

Update to my (Darren) to my first post. After deleting the dotted line to the left the projection symbol started appearing. This occurred on a third point of the block also. I now believe the projection symbols are from the block. However, my general question still remains, is there a simple way to locate body or feature being projected when it isn't obvious?

Creating a sketch on the face of a body, can project that face into the sketch, (depending on preference settings)

You will see the blue profile shading if you hide the body.

You can see the body edge lines if you move the mouse to hover over them.

Projected articles made by the Project commands will be Purple.

Hover or click the project icon will highlight the associated article.

Might help.....

This was helpful. However, I do struggle to find the body being projected when it is turned off/hidden. I have to hunt for the body to turn back on.

Really?

If you turned it off, testing or clutter control, surely you know which one to restore.
